Why I Founded Simply Wellness

As a Natural Whole Food Chef, I spent years dedicated to promoting healthy eating and raising awareness about the hidden dangers of sugar and processed foods — and how our everyday eating habits can impact our well-being.

But over time, I came to a deeper realisation: true wellness isn’t just about what we eat. (Though that is essential to a healthy life.)

Lasting change comes from a holistic approach — combining the nourishment of whole foods with regular movement, something that has always been a big part of my life.

I also discovered how essential it is to support quality sleep, manage stress, and reduce exposure to toxins in our homes and personal care routines.

For years, I struggled with chronic insomnia. I tried countless natural remedies — some offered temporary relief, but nothing truly worked. That is, until doTERRA essential oils & wholefood supplements found me.

Now, doTERRA oils are an everyday part of our family’s life — offering safe, natural alternatives to conventional products. I love being able to clean my home without harsh chemicals and to use skincare that I trust, knowing exactly what’s in it.

Through Simply Wellness, I’m here to share this powerful plant magic — pure, potent, and life-changing. It transformed my sleep, my home, and my health — and I believe it can do the same for you.

I believe that health starts with what we eat, and extends beyond that to how we manage stress, what toxins we expose ourselves to, and how we care for our home and skin.

I’m also the owner of Pit’s Kitchen, a healthy, organic, free-range catering service.

Pit’s Kitchen was born from a simple yet powerful belief: a healthy life begins with healthy eating.

After growing increasingly dissatisfied with the quality of many mass-produced foods, I was inspired to create a catering business focused on real, nourishing food. I choose to work primarily with organic, preservative-free, and free-range ingredients, ensuring my menus cater to a wide range of dietary needs and allergies — just as I would for my own family.

The greatest reward for me is the positive feedback from happy clients, the word-of-mouth referrals, and the many returning customers who trust Pit’s Kitchen for their special occasions.

What sets Pit’s Kitchen apart is not just the flavour and quality of the food, but the attention to presentation. I believe that food should nourish the soul and delight the eyes, as well as the body.

I’m passionate about conscious living and conscious cooking, and I’ve been committed to living as plastic-free as possible for several years.

Originally from northern Thailand, I studied advertising and languages in Bangkok before moving to the United States to train with United Airlines in Chicago. I spent several years flying with United, primarily based in Asia. After leaving the airline industry following 9/11, I relocated to Sydney, Australia, where I found my calling in hospitality.

My background in customer service, styling, and health and safety — developed during my airline years — naturally transitioned into hospitality work. I gained hands-on experience with several hotels, restaurants, catering services, and event management businesses before launching Pit’s Kitchen.

Today, Pit’s Kitchen brings together everything I love: beautiful food, meaningful connections, and conscious choices.
